We have been made aware of a scam targeting families that we are serving. Our informant is receiving a call on their cell phone asking for a deposit before the service and demanding a credit or debit card over the phone. Please know Paulk Funeral Home will NEVER ask for payment over the phone. We are able to process that form of payment if someone calls us but we will not seek out that information. If you receive such a call, please hang up and immediately call our office. We have informed local authorities and reports have been filed by the affected families.
