During confusing and concerning times such as the COVID-19 event, we want to share our updated plans with you. The health and safety of the families we serve and of our staff is our top priority.
First, we are closely monitoring and following all guidelines from the CDC, National Funeral Directors Association, and Georgia Funeral Directors Association, as well as all local and state emergency services.
Effective immediately and in place until further notice, the following guidelines have been adopted by the Paulk Funeral Home:
Please limit in-person visits to our office to necessary pre-need and at-need funeral business or to handle financial and insurance matters. We will be happy to assist via telephone or email. As always, we will be accessible 24 hours a day in order to serve you.
With the current recommendation to limit mass gatherings to very small numbers, we will conduct only graveside/memorial services in open, outdoor areas.
Formal public visitations have been suspended until further notice. Private viewings for immediate family members will be arranged on individual basis.
We have online register books available and the option to call our offices for us to add your name to the register books. Individuals are also welcome to leave messages for the family on our website - www.paulkfuneralhome.com
We sincerely appreciate your understanding as we work diligently to serve the community. As guidelines are altered, we will revisit our plan in order to stay in compliance.
Again, our staff is here to serve, protect and honor each family as we have been for over a century. If you have any questions or concerns please feel to call either of our locations.
